Privacy Policy

Notice the lack of cookie popup?

That's because the privacy of website visitors is important to me. I don't use tracking cookies and never collect any personal data. If you fill out the contact or booking form, I ask for the bare minimum in order to respond to your message.

I run a privacy respecting analytics script to collect some anonymous usage data for statistical purposes. The goal is to track overall trends in my website traffic, it is not to track individual visitors. All the data is in aggregate only and no personal data is collected. In fact, you can see the all data for yourself here: https://plausible.io/eskritt.ca

What I Collect and What I Use It For

When you book a discovery call.

I keep that correspondence, which includes the email address and optionally phone number, so that I have a history of past correspondences to reference if you reach out in the future. I use this data solely in connection with scheduling an informational call.

When you write to me with a question.

I keep that correspondence, which includes the email address and optionally phone number, so that I have a history of past correspondences to reference if you reach out in the future. I use this data solely in connection with answering the queries I receive.

Cookies

This site does use strictly necessary cookies as well as functional/preference cookies. If I were not able to, parts of the site would not function or may be insecure.

These are the cookies my site stores and how they are used:

ea_session

Cookie used to store preferences

This "preference" or "functional" cookie is used remember choices you make on my booking form such as your timezone and language preference.

This cookie expires when your browser determines the current session has ended.

csrfCookie

Cookie used to secure my booking form

A CSRF cookie is a type of security token used to help protect my website from Cross-Site Request Forgery (CSRF) attacks. The cookie contains a unique identifier that is sent with each request and checked by the server to ensure it matches the one stored in the user's session. This helps prevent malicious requests from being made on behalf of a user without their knowledge or consent.

This cookie expires when your browser determines the current session has ended.

__cf_bm

Cookie for Cloudflare bot protection

Cloudflare places the __cf_bm cookie on your device to help identify and mitigate automated traffic, protecting my website from bad bots. The cookie contains information related to the calculation of Cloudflare’s proprietary bot score and, when Anomaly Detection is enabled on Bot Management, a session identifier. The information in the cookie (other than time-related information) is encrypted and can only be decrypted by Cloudflare.

A separate __cf_bm cookie is generated for each site you visit, as Cloudflare does not track users from site to site or from session to session. The __cf_bm cookie is generated independently by Cloudflare, and does not correspond to any user ID or other identifiers on my site.

This cookie expires after 30 minutes of continuous inactivity.
